Cherian Davis-Williams

Owner/Master Stylist

First things first, Cherian D is nothing without God! Known as a "HAIR VET," she knew from a young age that hairstyling would be her career, growing up in a family of hairstylists. She earned her cosmetology license in 2002 from Velma B's Beauty Academy in Oakcliff, Dallas, TX. After working in several salons, Cherian opened Salon Artist in Deep Ellum in 2011 to provide clients with a comfortable yet professional space. In 2014, she expanded her expertise by earning a cosmetology instructor license from Ogle School. Dedicated to healthy hair care, Cherian prioritizes using top-tier products and staying current with the latest industry trends.

I recently moved from Arlington to Dallas and a friend recommended Cherian at Salon Artist. I'm very picky about who does my hair and I'm happy to say that Cherian is an amazing hair stylist that always exceeds my expectations. She's courteous, punctual, has reasonable prices and all about HEALTHY HAIR. She recently did my first sew-in ever and I loved the result (refer to picture). I was very nervous and afraid that I wouldn't be able to take care of it but she walked me through the entire process with ease. She provided quality hair, she was quick and efficient and showed me step by step how to take care of my hair. I left the salon looking beautiful and confident with my new sew-in.
